As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Nvidia’s China Orders Are Surging – And Retail Believes Price Targets Will Follow

Before the rule, domestic companies like SMIC would prefer U.S. equipment over Chinese ones, but after the 2023 U.S export restrictions, Chinese companies had to pivot to work with domestic suppliers.Naura, one of the largest chip equipment manufacturers in China, is reportedly testing its etching tools, a critical tool in the chip manufacturing process, on a cutting-edge 7nm (nanometre) production line at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, according to two sources.One of the sources also believes that two or three major equipment manufacturers would eventually dominate the Chinese markets, and Naura would certainly be one of them. &nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Why US Markets Should Care</h2>The U.S. and China have been competing for technological dominance, with the battle intensifying in recent years.
