Production in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026 is expected to average 68,000 to 69,000 boe/d, with plans to scale to 70,000 boe/d at the end of the year. That indicates an over 15% upside to BIRK's last closing price.Currently, 20 of the 22 analysts covering the stock have a 'Buy' or higher rating, and two rate it 'Hold,' according to Koyfin data. Their average price target is $72.26.Goldman Sachs sees "robust" momentum and an attractive valuation for Birkenstock in a challenging macro backdrop. German sandal&nbsp;maker Birkenstock has filed an infringement lawsuit in India's capital, New Delhi, against four footwear traders, four factories, and two unnamed individuals following a company investigation revealed the production, sale, and export of counterfeit products, according to a Reuters report.The&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.reuters.com/sustainability/boards-policy-regulation/birkenstock-cracks-down-fakes-india-court-ordered-factory-visits-held-sources-2025-07-06/">report</a>, which cites people familiar with the matter,&nbsp;comes as the footwear industry is garnering increased attention in India. Earlier this month, Crocs (CROX) secured a court nod to pursue a nine-year-old infringement case. Birkenstock Reportedly Sues Indian Footwear Makers Over Counterfeits Amid Rising Industry Scrutiny

India is a key market for the German brand, which last month opened its 50th standalone store in the country.

Nasdaq-listed shares of argenx SE (ARGX) rose 2% by Friday afternoon after the company <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://argenx.com/news/2024/argenx-announces-european-commission-approval-of-vyvgart--efgart">announced</a> that the European Commission approved its VYVGART 1,000 mg subcutaneous (SC) injection in the treatment of adult patients with progressive or relapsing active chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP).CIDP is a rare and often progressive autoimmune disease of the peripheral nervous system. Patients with CIPD experience a range of mobility and sensory issues, including trouble standing from a seated position, pain and fatigue, and frequent tripping or falling.The European Commission approved the subcutaneous injection as a monotherapy for patients with the disease who have received prior treatment with corticosteroids or immunoglobulins.The EC approval will apply to all 27 European Union Member States, as well as to Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.VYVGART for SC injection is available as a vial or prefilled syringe and can be administered by a patient, caregiver, or healthcare professional. GSK’s Application To European Authorities For Expanded Use Of RSV Vaccine In Younger Adults Fails To Rejuvenate Retail Optimism

Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) has announced a potential investment of up to SEK 95 billion (approximately $10 billion) to develop AI infrastructure in Sweden, marking one of its largest AI initiatives in Europe to date.The funding will be directed toward developing a large-scale AI center in Strängnäs, forming a key component of Sweden’s digital infrastructure aligned with its national AI goals.&nbsp;The facility is expected to grow its capacity from 300 megawatts (MW) to 750 MW, supported by a land deal encompassing around 350,000 square meters.Brookfield expects the Strängnäs facility to create over 1,000 permanent positions, with another 2,000 jobs expected during the 10- to 15-year construction phase.&nbsp;“To compete in the development of AI and realize its economic productivity, it is important to invest at scale in the infrastructure underpinning this technology,” said&nbsp;Head of Europe, Brookfield, Sikander Rashid.According to a Reuters report, the growing adoption of AI and regulations mandating data storage within Europe have sparked a surge in data center development across the region.&nbsp;Companies like Microsoft Inc. Brookfield Commits $10B To Sweden’s AI Expansion: Retail Sees No Reason To Cheer

German sandals&nbsp;maker Birkenstock Holding (BIRK)&nbsp;said on Wednesday that it plans to buy back $200 million worth of company shares and&nbsp;announced the sale of a block of shares by one of its investors.BK LC Lux MidCo, an entity affiliated with private equity firm L Catterton, is selling 15.7 million shares of Birkenstock at $52.50 a piece. That totals to over $824 million.The shares are being offered to public investors through underwriters in a secondary public offering.Meanwhile, Birkenstock has authorized a $200 million buyback&nbsp;by purchasing an estimated 3.7 million shares.
