On Oct 15th , Mayne just announced a settlement with Teva over IMVEXXY, allowing generic entry beginning Sept. 2032 (or earlier under certain conditions). No financial payments involved, and with the recent Sun Pharma settlement, ALL outstanding IMVEXXY Paragraph IV litigation is now resolved, subject to court approval. Add in Mayne’s recent appellate victory against Cosette, and we’re seeing significant legal uncertainties being cleared. Companies often work to resolve litigation, clean up liabilities, and simplify their balance sheets ahead of major strategic transactions, acquisitions, or asset sales. Is that what’s happening here? Nothing confirmed, but the timing is certainly interesting, especially with the TXMD–Mayne dispute still outstanding. Sometimes the groundwork for a deal becomes visible before the announcement. 👀
