Lyft Draws Investor Attention After Wedbush Downgrades Stock Amid Autonomous Vehicle Risks

It is the only approved treatment for the condition in the European Union.Brinsupri was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of the condition in August. Non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis is a chronic lung condition where airways become permanently widened and damaged, leading to a vicious cycle of mucus buildup, infection, inflammation, and cough with sputum.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Optimism Dampened</h2>Cantor Fitzgerald had raised the price target on Insmed to $230 from $216 on Wednesday in anticipation of the trial results. The company further expects first quarter core profit to be 67% of projected revenue.However, in the non-AI semiconductor segment, the company expects revenue to be about $4.1 billion in the quarter, flat from a year ago. “Directionally, we expect AI revenue to continue to accelerate and drive most of our growth, and non-AI semiconductor revenue to be stable,” the CEO said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">AI Boom Aids Stock Rally</h2>Broadcom, like Nvidia, has greatly benefited from the AI boom with its abilities in designing custom AI chips. AVGO stock has gained over 75% this year and by about 122% over the past 12 months.Tan said on Thursday that the company now has about $73 billion in AI backlog, almost half of the company’s consolidated backlog of $162 billion. Of this, 17 patients remain enrolled on active Setmelanotide therapy and the company will share additional data in the first half of 2026, it added.PWS is a rare genetic disorder requiring lifelong management and causing poor muscle tone and feeding issues in infancy, followed by relentless hunger (hyperphagia) and severe obesity in childhood, alongside developmental delays, learning disabilities, and distinctive behavioral problems. PWS is estimated to affect approximately 400,000 people worldwide and approximately 20,000 people in the United States, as per Rhythm.The company said that safety and tolerability profile of Setmelanotide therapy in the trial was consistent with the drug’s established clinical profile. In the United States, Setmelanotide is already indicated to reduce excess body weight and maintain weight reduction long term in adult and pediatric patients 2 years of age and older with syndromic or monogenic obesity due to certain conditions including Bardet-Biedl syndrome.Rhythm is also looking to evaluate its experimental therapy RM-718 in PWS and expects the first patient with PWS to enter screening for this study in December.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Expert Take</h2>Bank of America subsequently raised its price target on Rhythm to $140 from $127 while keeping a ‘Buy’ rating on the shares. In FY25, the company delivered 11,292 homes at an average price of $960,000.CEO Douglas C. Yearley, Jr. said that the company continued to execute well in FY2025 despite a choppy environment. “Our fourth quarter and full year results demonstrate that our luxury business is differentiated, as we serve a more affluent customer who is less impacted by affordability pressures,” he said.
