Of the 50 patients who started treatment, 70% reported side effects, most of which were mild or moderate. Four serious adverse events were reported, but investigators said they were not related to the drug. The most common treatment-related issues were mild skin reactions at the application site.88% of the patients completed the 24-week study. LVEF refers to the percentage of blood pumped out of the heart's main pumping chamber, the left ventricle, with each heartbeat.Myqorzo is available only through a restricted program under a risk evaluation and mitigation strategy (REMS) because of the risk of heart failure.FDA approved the drug on the basis of results from a late-stage trial in which Myqorzo improved exercise capacity and reduced symptoms. The drug was also well tolerated in the study with no instances of worsening heart failure or treatment interruptions. Lyft Draws Investor Attention After Wedbush Downgrades Stock Amid Autonomous Vehicle Risks

Wedbush Equity Research Analyst Scott Devitt reduced the price target on Lyft to $16 from $20.

(<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRMD">CRMD</a>) stated on Thursday that its DefenCath, a catheter lock solution, had fewer catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) and secondary hospitalizations in adult dialysis patients as shown in its ongoing real-world interim study conducted in conjunction with U.S. Renal Care.The use of DefenCath resulted in a 72% reduction in CRBSI and a 70% reduction in hospitalizations secondary to CRBSI in the preliminary analysis of interim data for approximately 7,000 patients who received at least one dose of DefenCath in Year 1, the company said.Shares of CRMD were up over 2% on Thursday morning.<h2 class="st-heading-2">DefenCath Solutions</h2>CorMedix said that it believes the latest results about DefenCath indicate a meaningful risk reduction among some of the most vulnerable patients. The company now plans to advance mid-stage development plans for the drug initially in interstitial lung disease and moderate-to-severe asthma.The drug was developed by privately held pharmaceutical company Opsidio and formerly known as OpSCF.The drug adds to the company’s pipeline, the most advanced of which are in pulmonary and inﬂammatory conditions.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pipeline And Approvals</h2>Last month, the European Commission approved the company’s Brinsupri for the treatment of a chronic and progressive lung disease non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis in patients 12 years of age and older. It is the only approved treatment for the condition in the European Union.Brinsupri was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of the condition in August. Non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis is a chronic lung condition where airways become permanently widened and damaged, leading to a vicious cycle of mucus buildup, infection, inflammation, and cough with sputum.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Optimism Dampened</h2>Cantor Fitzgerald had raised the price target on Insmed to $230 from $216 on Wednesday in anticipation of the trial results.
