(FVRR) slipped more than 6% on Wednesday, extending its pre-market decline, after the company’s FY26 outlook missed Wall Street expectations.</p><p>The freelance service marketplace received a downgrade from Needham and a cut in its price target from BTIG.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Analysts’ Rationale</h2><p>Needham downgraded Fiverr to ‘Hold’ from ‘Buy,’ citing an updated business plan that focused on higher value clients, according to TheFly. The analyst said that this will result in significant gross merchandise value declines in FY26.</p><p>Needham said that the new strategy could be the right one, given the disruption from artificial intelligence at the low end of the market, but said that it will likely take several quarters to be able to judge. The analyst lowered the firm's adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) estimates by 38% in FY26 and 63% in FY27.</p><p>Meanwhile, BTIG lowered its price target on Fiverr to $18 from $31 and kept a ‘Buy’ rating on the shares. The analyst said that the Israeli company delivered mixed Q4 results and its guidance was also well short of expectations.</p><p>While BTIG said that it acknowledges the "challenging environment" and the risk of Fiverr "being a value trap," it sees valuation metrics as typical of a highly distressed company as opposed to one with plenty of net cash and solid, although declining, free cash flow.</p><p>As per data from Koyfin, three out of 11 analysts covering the firm have a ‘Hold’ rating on the shares, while eight have a ‘Buy’ or higher rating. The average 12-month price target on Fiverr is $31.90, representing an upside potential of 158% compared to its current price of $12.36.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Earnings Snapshot</h2><p>Earlier on Wednesday, Fiverr reported fourth-quarter (Q1) 2025 <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/fvrr-stock-slumps-premarket-on-fy26-guidance-miss-fiverr-flags-uncertainty/cZR08zuR4Hy">results</a>, posting marketplace revenue of $71.5 million, about 2% lower than $73.5 million reported during the same period a year ago. The company reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.86 in Q4 on revenue of $107 million, compared to Wall Street expectations of an adjusted EPS of $0.74 on revenue of $109 million, as per data from Fiscal.ai.</p><p>The company’s first-quarter (Q1) guidance missed estimates, with Fiverr forecasting revenue in the range of $100 million and $108 million, lower than the expected $112 million. The company reported marketplace revenue of $71.5 million in Q4, down from $73.5 million during the same period a year ago. Annual active buyers also declined to 3.1 million at the end of Q4, down from 3.6 million a year ago.</p><p>Fiverr reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.86 in Q4 on revenue of $107 million, compared to Wall Street expectations of an adjusted EPS of $0.74 on revenue of $109 million.</p><p>“As we close 2025, a year of disciplined execution for us, it is clear that we are living through a significant shift in AI adoption. Disney CEO Bob Iger To Reportedly Leave His Role Early: What’s Behind The Decision?

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal Iger was frustrated by conflicts at Disney’s ABC network over the brief suspension of late night host Jimmy Kimmel.

The US federal government is reportedly considering giving crypto firm Robinhood Markets Inc. a key role in overseeing the new “Trump accounts” it’s creating for millions of children.

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday had asked the Transportation Department to open Venezuelan airspace for U.S. flights.&nbsp;</li><li>The airline said it remains in close contact with federal authorities.&nbsp;</li><li>American Airlines started operating in Venezuela in 1987, and suspended service in 2019.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>American Airlines Group Inc. (<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/AAL">AAL</a>) shares were in focus after it became the first airline to announce plans to reinstate nonstop service between the United States and Venezuela.</p><p>American Airlines started operating in Venezuela in 1987, and before suspending service in 2019, served as the largest U.S. airline in the country.</p><p>Shares of AAL traded marginally in red at the time of writing.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">The Resumption Plan</h2><p>American Airlines said it will share additional details about its return to service in the coming months.</p><p>“We have a more than 30-year history connecting Venezolanos to the U.S., and we are ready to renew that incredible relationship,” said Nat Pieper, American Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Trump Opens Airspace</h2><p>Earlier on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump had asked the Transportation Department to open the Venezuelan airspace for U.S. flights after a discussion with the country's acting President Delcy Rodríguez.&nbsp;</p><p>On Jan. 16, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) had warned U.S. airlines to exercise caution when flying over Mexico, Central America, and parts of South America, citing the risks of potential military activities and GPS interference.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Escalating Tensions&nbsp;</h2><p>The U.S. has carried out a strike on Venezuela and arrested President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, who were flown out of the country in an operation that involved U.S. law enforcement.&nbsp;<br>Ever since the strikes, tensions between the U.S., and South and Central American nations have been rising.</p><p>Earlier in the day Trump posted on Truth Social that he had a ‘very productive telephone conversation’ with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Steel Partners has offered $18.00 per share to acquire a majority stake in InMode.&nbsp;</li><li>The investment firm said the proposal would be fully funded from cash on hand and borrowing capacity under its existing credit facility, with no financing contingency.&nbsp;</li><li>The firm may elect to proceed with bringing a binding proposal directly to the shareholders, in case the management and board of InMode did not engage with it.</li></ul><p>Inmode shares rallied during extended hours of trading on Wednesday after investment firm Steel Partners presented an offer to buy a majority of the company.&nbsp;</p><p>Shares rallied more than 8% at the time of writing.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Details Of The Offer</h2><p>Steel Partners said it is pursuing an acquisition of 51% of InMode’s outstanding shares for $18.00 per share. It said the offer represented a 29% premium over the company’s closing share price on January 23, 2026, before speculation around a potential transaction was reported in the media.</p><p>“We have also recently attempted to engage in a private dialogue with InMode’s leadership around our attractive proposal, but have so far been rebuffed. In December, it acquired a 200-megawatt (MW) site in Ohio, called “Ulysses,” which will expand its footprint beyond Texas.</p><p>Keefe Bruyette on Monday raised the firm's price target on Cipher Mining to $22 from $13 and kept an ‘Outperform’ rating on the shares. The firm updated the company's model ahead of the Q4 report to reflect recent business developments and hash price trends.
