This keeps bigger mining conglomerates away from Litecoin because they cannot easily optimize their profits by swapping to another coin, contributing to a more decentralized experience. Litecoin also has bigger blocks, and more coins in circulation, making it more affordable and swift when transacting,’ Investopedia explained.  As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Dogecoin) because of its Scrypt hashing algorithm in order to prevent ASIC miners from mining those coins. However it is said that by the end of this year, Scrypt ASIC will enter the mass market.

Tesla Model 3 Faces US Safety Probe Over Emergency Door Release

(<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/TSLA">TSLA</a>) struggled to boost its car sales in the European market in November 2025, even as Chinese competitors like BYD surged ahead.According to the latest data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), Tesla reported 12,130 new vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) for November 2025, a 34% decline from 18,430 in the same period last year.Across the European region, including Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom (EU + EFTA + U.K.), Tesla’s November sales declined 11.8% to 22,801 new registrations from 25,840 for the same period last year.Meanwhile, Chinese rivals BYD and SAIC Motors recorded 221.8% and 20.9% growth in new registrations across Europe for the same period.<h2 class="st-heading-2">European Market Pressure</h2>Growing competition and pressure from new players are shrinking Tesla’s market share across Europe, which is already dominated by local players. The American EV maker is also facing increasing competition from Chinese counterparts who are rolling out more fully electric models across the region.The latest data from ACEA showed that Tesla’s market share in Europe is down to 2.1% for the month, down from 2.5%. At the same time, BYD’s market share grew to 2% from 0.6% while SAIC Motors held a 2.2% share, up from 1.9% in the same period last year.Tesla’s European market struggles come even as the region's overall electric car market is growing. As per ACEA, battery-electric cars captured 16.9% of the EU market share from January to November 2025, up from 13.4% for the same period in 2024.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Big Picture</h2>Tesla’s European tailwinds come as the company’s shares recently pulled back from record highs, and Wall Street analysts have grown cautious about the company. UBS cut its estimate for Tesla’s fourth quarter deliveries to about 415,000 vehicles from 429,000 and maintained a ‘Sell’ rating on the stock with a $247 price target. Deutsche Bank also expects Tesla to miss its fourth-quarter deliveries.Tesla’s autonomy ambitions are in focus as the company pushes deeper into full self-driving cars and robotaxis that are already available in some markets, including the U.S., Canada, and China. Tesla reported a 34% decline in new vehicle registrations in the European Union for Nov. 2025, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.

Dan Ives Raises His Price Target On Rivian – Why Does He Expect 2026 To Be A Significant Year For The Company?

The firm also expressed concerns about the lack of clarity on Rivian’s liquidity concerns and R2/R3 profitability.<h2 class="st-heading-2">The Big Reveal</h2>In Thursday’s event, the company announced the development of a custom chip called RAP1 or Rivian Autonomy Processor 1, which would aid the automaker in achieving level 4 vehicle autonomy. So far, Rivian’s older car system employed Nvidia Orin chips.This chip will power Rivian’s third-generation compute module, the Gen 3 Autonomy Computer, which the company said would achieve 1600 sparse INT8 TOPS (trillion operations per second). This will enable the new system to process five billion pixels per second.In addition, the company said it planned to launch an Autonomy+ subscription in early 2026 for its next-gen customers. Rivian Stock Rallies Post Needham, Goldman Price Target Hikes Following AI & Autonomy Day

Rivian received two price target upgrades, from Goldman Sachs and Needham, following multiple announcements at its AI and autonomy event.

Lucid delivered 3,099 vehicles to customers in the corresponding quarter of 2024.<h2 class="st-heading-2">About Gravity</h2>Lucid started initial deliveries of its Gravity SUV in December 2024. It's the company’s second vehicle after its Air sedan.As per the CFO, the consumer base for the Gravity includes former Lucid owners who want to move to a bigger car and also people who used to own SUVs in the past and wanted an upgrade. However, both the Lucid Air and Gravity are higher end vehicles. While the Air starts at around $70,900, the Gravity starts at $79,900 for the base variant.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Lucid Eyes Market Expansion With Mid-Size Vehicles</h2>Lucid is now seeking to expand its addressable market with vehicles based on its mid-size platform and priced around $50,000. The company is looking to launch three different cars based on the platform.Production is slated to start four quarters from now, Boussaid said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Uber Partnership</h2>Ride-hailing platform Uber in July inked a partnership with Lucid to deploy its vehicles as robotaxis by deploying them with technology from California-based robotics company Nuro. Uber plans to deploy 20,000 or more of Lucid vehicles on its platform as robotaxis over six years. In September, the EV maker announced that it has delivered the first robotaxi engineering vehicle, a Gravity, to Nuro for the installation of autonomous driving tech.Boussaid, however, noted that the company’s current vehicles might not be ideal for being deployed at robotaxis owing to their size and price point. Production of the potentially affected vehicle population began on December 10, 2021 and ended on November 8, 2025. &nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Recall Cause And Solutions</h2>The company determined that the driver side seat belt pretensioner may be damaged from repeated misuse such as from the driver sitting on the seatbelt while it is buckled. A damaged seat belt pretensioner cable may not restrain the occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury during a crash, the U.S. auto safety regulator said.The company said that since early November, it started building the vehicles with a seat belt misuse detection feature.As for a solution, Rivian has released an over-the-air software update to detect seatbelt misuse. The company will also inspect and replace the driver's seat belt pretensioner assembly as necessary, free of charge to the customer. The new price target of $13 still represents a 4% potential upside to the stock’s closing price on Tuesday.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Goldman Sachs’ Take</h2>Rivian’s lower cost per vehicle sold in the third quarter reflects strong material cost reductions and reduced tariff impacts following recent U.S. policy changes, the analyst told investors in a research note, as per TheFly. Rivian management expects these savings to extend to the company’s upcoming R2 SUV, and is targeting positive gross margins by late 2026.Near-term, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) will likely stay under pressure due to the expiry of the federal tax credit of $7,500 on new EV purchases and higher autonomy investments. Still, long-term profitability is expected to improve with R2 scaling and growth in software and services segment, according to Goldman Sachs.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Rivian Q3 Numbers</h2>For the third quarter, Rivian <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://rivian.com/newsroom/article/rivian-releases-third-quarter-2025-financial-results">reported</a> consolidated revenue of $1.56 billion, representing a 78% year-over-year growth and exceeding an analyst estimate of $1.51 billion, according to Fiscal AI. Automotive revenue alone totaled $1.14 billion.The company delivered 13,201 vehicles in the quarter and now expects to report lower deliveries in the fourth quarter as it prepares for the launch of its R2 SUV in the first half of 2026. The R2, unlike Rivian’s R1 vehicles, which are priced over $70,000, is expected to have a price of around $45,000. The company plans to begin manufacturing validation builds of its new vehicle at the end of the year.Adjusted loss in the third quarter came in at $0.65, down from the loss of $0.99 reported in the corresponding quarter of last year, and below an estimated loss of $0.71.The company also stated that it achieved a nearly $19,000 reduction in automotive cost of revenues per vehicle delivered year-over-year in Q3, and the cost of goods sold per unit delivered during the period was approximately $96,000.For the full year, Rivian expects vehicle deliveries to be between 41,500 and 43,500
