Fundstrat’s Tom Lee Predicts Ethereum Likely To Hit Bottom This Week

Lee said Ethereum’s valuation metrics, like assets locked on-chain and long-term ratios to Bitcoin, indicate it may be nearing a bottom.

The move puts the stock down about 0.5% year-to-date, reversing a brief period earlier in 2025 when Tesla had turned positive following a September filing showing CEO Elon Musk purchased roughly $1 billion worth of shares through his family foundation.<h2 class="st-heading-2">ARK Selling Adds Pressure</h2>A significant driver of the latest downturn was persistent selling from longtime Tesla bull Cathie Wood. ARK Invest trimmed its Tesla holdings for the fourth straight session on Wednesday, marking one of its lengthiest selling streaks in months. ARK Innovation and ARK Next Gen Internet sold a combined 70,474 Tesla shares, worth about $30.35 million based on daily disclosures.&nbsp;Earlier in the week, ARK sold just 789 shares on Tuesday and 5,426 shares on Monday, following a much larger cut of more than 71,000 shares last Friday. Even after the sale, Tesla remains ARK Innovation’s largest position at 11.96% and the largest holding in ARK Next Gen Internet at 9.69%. Across all ARK funds, Tesla still carries a 9.94% weight.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Powerwall 2 Recall&nbsp;</h2>Tesla was also dealing with a new safety recall covering a subset of its Powerwall 2 home battery units. The affected systems contain a defective third-party battery cell that may overheat, release smoke, or in rare cases produce small flames that caused minor property damage.Tesla said nearly all impacted units in the U.S. have been remotely discharged to render them safe, with remaining systems handled on-site by technicians. All recalled Powerwall 2 units will be removed and replaced at no cost, with scheduling managed through the Tesla app, email, or direct outreach from Tesla and certified installers.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Musk Dismisses Waymo’s Fleet</h2>As pressure mounted, CEO Elon Musk&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1989054786973626664">drew attention on X&nbsp;</a>by responding to Tesla influencer Sawyer Merritt, who highlighted Waymo’s 2,500-vehicle robotaxi fleet across major U.S. cities. Circle Stock Gains Pre-Market After JPMorgan Turns Bullish, Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest Buys The Dip

Despite the share price dip, retail sentiment on Stocktwits flipped to ‘extremely bullish’ from ‘bearish’ territory over the past day, as chatter rose to ‘extremely high’ from ‘normal’ levels over the past day.<h2 class="st-heading-2">JPMorgan Downgrades CoreWeave</h2>JPMorgan downgraded the stock to ‘Neutral’ from ‘Overweight’ with a price target of $110, citing mounting supply chain pressures that offset the company’s "very robust" bookings performance. The firm stated that the long-term opportunity remains intact, but noted an increased difficulty in forecasting CoreWeave’s near-term results.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Morgan Stanley Sees Opportunity Amid Supply Constraints</h2>Morgan Stanley analyst Keith Weiss raised the firm’s price target on CoreWeave to $99 from $91 and maintained an ‘Equal Weight’ rating. He noted that strong demand for GPU capacity against limited supply creates opportunities, enabling CoreWeave’s "unprecedented pace of scaling as the market’s most effective GPU cluster builder."&nbsp;Weiss added that supply constraints, while short-term, highlight execution risk for the company.Here’s how other analysts reacted:&nbsp;- Jefferies lowered its price target to $155 from $180 while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating.&nbsp;- Melius Research cut its price target to $140 from $165 with a ‘Buy’ rating.&nbsp;- Bank of America trimmed its price target to $140 from $168 and kept a ‘Neutral’ rating.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Guidance Cut Reflects Supply Delays</h2>The company reported a loss of $0.22 per share, lower than the expected $0.36 by Wall Street, according to Koyfin data. Revenue came in at $1.37 billion, beating the consensus forecast of $1.28 billion.&nbsp;CoreWeave now expects full-year revenue to be between $5.05 billion and $5.15 billion, down from its previous guidance of $5.15 billion to $5.35 billion. CoreWeave (CRWV), a cloud infrastructure provider backed by Nvidia (NVDA), announced on Monday that it will offer $1.5 billion in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2031 in a private placement.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/CRWV">CoreWeave’s stock</a> edged&nbsp;1.4%&nbsp;higher in pre-market trade.&nbsp;However, on Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the company dipped to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bullish’ a day ago amid ‘high’ levels of chatter.The stock was also buoyed by a price target hike from Barclays ahead of second-quarter (Q2) tech earnings, which are set to kick off this week. The brokerage raised its price target on the shares from $140 to $100, maintaining an ‘Equal Weight’ rating on Monday, as per TheFly.&nbsp;Barclays cited stronger channel checks in May and June, following the initial uncertainty seen in April, and stated that it expects strong Q2 earnings results and possible guidance raises.&nbsp;The company said the notes would be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by certain wholly owned subsidiaries of CoreWeave.&nbsp;It added that the notes would be offered only to qualified institutional buyers under Rule 144A or to non–U.S. persons under Regulation S.&nbsp;CoreWeave intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of outstanding debt and covering fees and expenses related to the offering.&nbsp;It&nbsp;has not yet disclosed the interest rate or pricing details of the notes.The debt sale comes as Coreweave expands its footprint in AI infrastructure amid surging demand for GPU-powered cloud services.&nbsp;CoreWeave’s stock has more than quadrupled since its initial public offering (IPO) in March, earlier this year.
