Royal Caribbean CEO Flags Historic Booking Momentum Heading Into 2026

(MMYT) fell over 12% on Wednesday after the company received target price cuts from Morgan Stanley and Citi following its third-quarter (Q3) 2026 results.Citi cut MakeMyTrip’s price target to $96 from $108, while maintaining a ‘Buy’ rating on the shares after its earnings results.Meanwhile, Morgan Stanley lowered its price target on MakeMyTrip to $106 from $113 while maintaining an ‘Overweight’ rating on the shares.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Earnings Results</h2>The company missed revenue estimates, reporting quarterly revenue of $295.7 billion, compared to analyst expectations of $310 billion, as per Fiscal.ai data.However, MakeMyTrip beat analyst expectations on earnings per share, reporting $0.07 EPS for the quarter, versus an expectation of $0.01.For the quarter, the company’s adjusted net profit grew to $51.4 million versus $44.9 million in the same period last year, an improvement of $6.5 million. The company also reported a 11.8% increase in gross bookings. The company’s profit for the quarter decreased almost 73% year-on-year to $7.3 million in Q3 26, compared to $27.1 million in Q3 25.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Street Consensus</h2>Morgan Stanley said it lowered its price target on MakeMyTrip after the company's latest earnings report. The analyst said it lowered its estimates to moderate the expected pace of margin expansion for FY27 and FY28, according to TheFly.Meanwhile, Citi said that it views MakeMyTrip’s growth as solid amid "challenging circumstances," according to TheFly. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Top U.S. airlines have announced the cancellation of hundreds of flights scheduled for Friday.</li><li>More than 760 planned Friday flights were cut from airline schedules, according to FlightAware, a real-time flights-tracking service.</li><li>The aviation regulator on Thursday published a list of 40 airports where it has asked flight traffic to be reduced.&nbsp;</li></ul>Airline operators began canceling flights at major airports across the U.S. on Thursday and removed hundreds of scheduled trips from their schedules for Friday, following orders from authorities.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Cancelations</h2>United Airlines Holdings, Inc. said on Thursday it would cancel 4% of its flights scheduled for Friday through Sunday. That would be 200 cancellations on Friday alone, according to the airline’s statement to the Financial Times.&nbsp;American Airlines Group, Inc. announced it would cancel approximately 220 flights per day from Friday to Monday, also representing a 4% reduction. Delta Air Lines, Inc. said it would cancel about 170 flights on Friday. The order goes into effect on Friday.&nbsp;“We are seeing signs of stress in the system, so we are proactively reducing the number of flights to make sure the American people continue to fly safely,” FAA Federal Aviation Administrator Bryan Bedford said in a statement.&nbsp;“The FAA will continue to closely monitor operations, and we will not hesitate to take further action to make sure air travel remains safe.”  &nbsp;As part of the order, the FAA said airlines must provide full refunds, excluding secondary costs.
