The board will accept comments for 90 days after publication of the request in the Federal Register.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Infrastructure Costs&nbsp;</strong></h2><p>Reserve Banks currently provide check collection and processing services to banks and credit unions for a fee. The Fed noted that while digital payment alternatives have grown quickly, check volumes continue to decline even as fraud incidents trend higher. (SOFI) slipped about 3% in after-hours trading on Thursday after the company said it plans to sell $1.5 billion of its common stock in a new underwritten offering.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Stock Offering Details</strong></h2><p>SoFi said it will sell all of the shares itself and expects to give the underwriter a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 15% of the offering. The company said the proceeds will go toward general corporate needs, including strengthening its capital position, increasing flexibility, and supporting future growth plans.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>SoFi’s Renewed Push Into Digital Assets</strong></h2><p>The stock sale comes just weeks after SoFi revealed a major new push into digital assets. Last month, the company said it would become&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/sofi-becomes-first-national-bank-to-let-retail-customers-trade-btc-eth-sol/cLPdAYeREPF">the first nationally chartered U.S. bank</a> to offer crypto services directly to retail customers. The new SoFi Crypto platform allows users to buy, sell and hold cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.</p><p>SoFi said its own data showed that 60% of members who already own crypto would rather trade through a licensed bank than a traditional crypto exchange, calling it a sign of strong demand for regulated offerings.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>SoFi’s Earlier Crypto Shutdown</strong></h2><p>SoFi&nbsp;had initially offered crypto trading through its brokerage app in 2020, but shut the feature down two years ago while reassessing its strategy.</p><p>Now, SoFi says it wants to build crypto and blockchain tools directly into its financial ecosystem. SoFi Technologies Stock Slides After-Hours On $1.5B Equity Offering Amid Fresh Expansion Into Crypto Services

SoFi announced a $1.5 billion stock offering and detailed plans to use the proceeds to bolster its capital position and support growth initiatives.

(IOT) rose 0.4% after-hours on Thursday after the firm topped Q3 estimates and raised its full-year outlook, helped by its biggest quarter yet for large-customer additions.</p><p>The stock closed the regular session up 4.4%.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Q3 Earnings Review</strong></h2><p>The company reported Q3 revenue of $416 million, ahead of analyst estimates of $399.01 million. Adjusted earnings came in at $0.15 per share, compared with $0.12 expected, marking the company’s first quarter of GAAP profitability.</p><p>Samsara closed the quarter with $1.75 billion in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) and added another $105 million in net new ARR, marking a quarterly record.&nbsp;</p><p>The firm also lifted its full-year adjusted earnings outlook to the range of $0.50–$0.51, up from $0.45–$0.47, and raised its revenue forecast to $1.595–$1.597 billion from $1.574–$1.578 billion, compared with consensus of $1.58 billion.</p><p>For the fourth quarter, Samsara projected revenue of $421–$423 million, compared with analyst expectations of $419.2 million, and forecast adjusted earnings of $0.12–$0.13 per share, in line with the $0.12 consensus.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Growth Drivers</strong></h2><p>Samsara said it added 219 customers with more than $100,000 in recurring revenue during the quarter, the most it has added in a single period. Another 17 customers crossed the $1 million ARR threshold.</p><p>The company said 20% of new annual contract value came from products launched over the past year, including AI Multicam, Asset Maintenance, Asset Tags, Connected Training and Connected Workflows. Samsara Stock Rises After Hours As Big-Customer Wins Power A Strong Q3 Beat And Higher Outlook

Discovery intensified after Paramount reportedly told Warner’s lawyers in a Monday letter that a sale to Netflix would “never close” because of regulatory hurdles tied to its global dominance.&nbsp;</p><p>Paramount insists it offers the cleanest approval path compared with Netflix and Comcast, which also submitted second-round bids Monday, according to a&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.wsj.com/business/media/paramount-raises-concerns-about-netflixs-bid-for-warner-bros-discovery-1ef9a8c5">report</a> by Wall Street Journal.</p><p>Warner Discovery has requested another round of offers by Thursday and aims to finish the auction by the end of the month, the report said.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Bidders And Revised Offers</strong></h2><p>Paramount, led by David Ellison, wants to buy the entire company, including CNN, TNT and TBS. Netflix and Comcast are bidding for the studios, libraries and HBO Max. Paramount apparently said in its letter that only its proposal avoids antitrust concerns and argued a Netflix deal would “entrench and extend” Netflix’s dominance.&nbsp;</p><p>All three suitors submitted improved offers Monday and Netflix’s bid is reportedly the highest and mostly cash. Paramount raised its bid and boosted its breakup fee to $5 billion from $2.1 billion, WSJ noted.</p><p>Paramount reportedly escalated pressure Wednesday with a letter to CEO David Zaslav accusing Warner of favoring a single bidder, believed to be Netflix, and compromising the fairness of the sale process. Warner replied Thursday that it “attends to its fiduciary obligations with the utmost care.”&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Internal Plans And Regulatory Arguments</strong></h2><p>Warner is also reportedly preparing to split into separate studio-streaming and cable-network companies, and executives including Zaslav have privately suggested they prefer Netflix’s offer. Paramount alleged Warner executive Gerhard Zeiler signaled concerns about a Paramount deal to a European Commission official, though it apparently focused on Warner’s Polish news channel and not the potential merging entities.</p><p>Netflix’s bid has drawn concern from some U.S. lawmakers that acquiring HBO Max could give it too much power, though the Justice Department hasn’t reviewed&nbsp;the deal. Netflix argued that the market includes free platforms like YouTube. Holiday shopping is underway, and retailers ranging from Walmart to Best Buy are saying that shoppers are still spending but&nbsp;are more deal-driven as they face higher prices. Black Friday and Cyber Monday brought strong traffic, and the National Retail Federation projects that&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/from-walmart-to-best-buy-retailers-see-a-solid-start-to-holiday-quarter/cL5aGzmRELI">holiday sales will climb</a> 3.7% to 4.2% this year to as much as $1.02 trillion.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Sales Slump Drives Need For Operational Changes</strong></h2><p>Target has struggled over the past three years with complaints about cluttered stores, stockouts and weaker product appeal. Last month, it posted its 12th consecutive quarter of soft or negative comparable sales. Comparable sales were down 2.7% in the three months ended Nov. 1. Digital comparable sales increased 2.4% and now make up 19% of total sales, up from 7.5% in 2019.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Fulfillment From Stores Remains Complicated</strong></h2><p>Target has been using its network of nearly 2,000 stores, within 10 miles of 75% of the U.S. population, to fill online orders, pointing to a tactic both Amazon and Walmart have also adopted. Fulfilling online orders through stores has become a difficult balancing act. In some cases, items can run out of stock before online orders are finished, aisles can become congested with order pickers, and the backroom runs out of packing space.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Market-Specific Adjustments</strong></h2><p>To tackle those problems, Target is customizing its strategy by market. In Chicago, for example, moving next-day orders from 18 busy stores to less crowded ones has not only accelerated deliveries by about a day but has also cut shipping costs. Local customers also said their stores were cleaner and had more staff and fewer out-of-stock items.</p><p>In Cleveland, a new 40,000-square-foot sortation center operated by Ryder batches store-picked orders by neighborhood for delivery exclusively by Shipt drivers, who can make more frequent pickups than national carriers. Target Tests Overnight, Next-Day Delivery In Major Markets As It Races To Cut Costs And Speed Shipping

The retailer is testing new fulfillment models in several cities to cut shipping costs, speed up orders and ease pressure on its busiest stores.

Loss per share (EPS) came in at $0.25, narrower than the expected $0.33 loss.</p><p>“We delivered a solid quarter driven by excellent performance in our Federal business and increased high-value deal activity across our customer base,” Ehikian said. “The Federal market continues to be a large growth vector for us.”</p><p>The company issued guidance for FY26, projecting revenue in the range of $289.5 million to $309.5 million, compared with consensus at $298.7 million. C3.ai expects an operating loss of $180.5 million to $210.5 million for the year.</p><p>For the third quarter, C3.ai guided revenue to $72 million to $80 million, versus consensus at $75.6 million.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Analyst Take</strong></h2><p>DA Davidson maintained its ‘Underperform’ rating following the results, stating that the company is still recovering from last quarter’s substantial earnings miss. Adjusted earnings reached $3.25 per share, ahead of expectations for $2.86.</p><p>Current remaining performance obligation (cRPO) grew 11% to $29.4 billion, and total Remaining performance obligation (RPO) rose 12% to $59.5 billion. Subscription and support revenue increased 10% to $9.7 billion.&nbsp;</p><p>Operating cash flow climbed 17% to $2.3 billion, and free cash flow improved 22% to $2.2 billion. The company returned $4.2 billion to shareholders through buybacks and dividends.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Agentforce And Data 360 Power Growth</strong></h2><p>CEO Marc Benioff said Q3 cRPO performance “signaled a powerful pipeline of future revenue,” highlighting the strength of Agentforce and Data 360, which together reached nearly $1.4 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR), up 114% year on year.</p><p>Agentforce processed more than 3.2 trillion tokens, closed over 9,500 paid deals, and posted a 330% increase in ARR. Data 360 ingested 32 trillion records, up 119% year on year, including gains in Zero Copy and unstructured data processing. Benioff said the platforms underscored Salesforce’s leadership in building the “Agentic Enterprise.”</p><p>CFO Robin Washington said Agentforce adoption and Q3 momentum supported Salesforce’s path toward its $60 billion-plus organic revenue target and its profitability target for FY30.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Guidance Raised For Q4 And Full Year</strong></h2><p>Salesforce guided to fourth quarter revenue of $11.13 billion to $11.23 billion, above analyst expectations of $10.9 billion. The company projected adjusted earnings of $3.02 to $3.04 per share, compared with the consensus of $3.04, and said it expects cRPO growth of about 15%.</p><p>For fiscal 2026, Salesforce raised its revenue forecast to $41.45 billion to $41.55 billion, representing 9% to 10% growth, and maintained adjusted operating margin guidance of 34.1%. OpenAI Snaps Up Neptune.ai As ‘Code Red’ Push Intensifies For ChatGPT Upgrade

OpenAI’s acquisition of neptune.ai comes as the company refocuses on strengthening ChatGPT’s core performance.

He will oversee design for hardware, software and AI integration, reporting to Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth, who runs Meta’s Reality Labs division responsible for VR headsets and wearable devices. Meta said Dye will lead its design leaders Josh To, Jason Rubin and Peter Bristol.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>Apple Names Stephen Lemay As Successor</strong></h2><p>Apple is reportedly elevating veteran designer Stephen Lemay to replace Dye. CEO Tim Cook confirmed the change in a statement to Bloomberg, saying Lemay has played “a key role in the design of every major Apple interface since 1999” and embodies Apple’s culture of “collaboration and creativity.”</p><p>Dye’s departure extends years of turnover within Apple’s design ranks following Jony Ive’s 2019 exit. Recent senior departures include Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams, AI head John Giannandrea and former hardware chief Dan Riccio. More leadership changes, including that of Cook, are expected as several executives approach retirement.
