Telecom infrastructure provider RailTel Corporation of India Ltd on Thursday (October 9) said it has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Center for E-Governance (CEG), Karnataka, for the procurement of back-to-back OEM support for existing KSWAN 2.0 routers and switches.

The order, valued at approximately 18.22 crore, is to be executed by November 8, 2025. The order is awarded by a domestic entity, and the promoters or promoter group of RailTel have no interest in CEG. The contract does not fall under related party transactions and is conducted at arm’s length. RailTel received the work order on October 8, 2025, at 5:26 PM.

In September this year, RailTel said it had bagged a ₹70.94 crore contract from Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation Ltd. The project, to be completed by December 31, 2026, involves selecting an Implementation Agency for the supply, laying, installation, testing, and commissioning of the Nashik and Trimbakeshwar City Network Backbone, along with operations and maintenance services.

In addition, the company has received a ₹32.51 crore order from Panvel Municipal Corporation. This contract, scheduled for completion by March 19, 2031, covers supply, installation, and services for providing connectivity (SDWAN-based Internet Lease Line/MPLS Line) at various locations under the Panvel Safe City Project.

Shares of Railtel Corporation of India Ltd ended at ₹384.00, down by ₹6.95, or 1.78%, on the BSE.
